Free educational games
for kids – getting what you pay for…
Kids love to play games, and like to
have fun the in process, what better way to combine the two activities
than with a free educational game. Computer games are more than just
playing; they can be educational for a child.
There is an old adage, you get what you
pay for, but how does that apply, when what you pay for something is
nothing? Is there a catch on a free educational game? Is it a case of
there is no such thing as a free lunch?
When you go to a trade show and vendors
give away "free" things to customers strolling by, there is always some
advertisement on the item. There might be a catch to get you to come back
to buy from them, or a coupon for more once you are hooked. A free
educational game may be clearly harmless. Is there a catch to the game?
Perhaps and added spy ware that comes on to your computer is you download
this free educational game? Perhaps the site harvest emails, and
obtains your when you download the game.
Again, it could be nothing more than a
teaser to get you to try the free educational game, a precursor to the
real game. Sometimes site will let you try out a game for 30 days and then
it will expire. This is great, as it give you a chance to test the waters
and see if you want to purchase the game. It may be a free educational
game, but buyer should still be aware of conditions and possibilities.
