It used to be that if you wanted to purchase a meaningful Christian toy for a child you had very little choice. Now choosing a Christian educational toy is exciting and you have many options even at a conventional toy store.

Toy manufacturers are realizing the importance of getting into the religious market. They are making toys and accessories that depict heroes and heroines from the bible in an effort to get into the Christian educational toy market. Soon you can buy David and Goliath play sets, of A Jesus action figure. Yes, it sounds odd, but you can buy them even ay the big toys stores.

Of course you can purchase the tried and true Christian educational toys like Veggie Tales videos and toys; they are a favorite amongst the younger children. And there is always the Noah’s ark for hours of fun with all the animals.

Did you know that you can go online and download tons of free Christian educational games? They have crossword puzzles, Tetris like games, interactive bible atlas and quiz games, and cartoon based games that help introduce young children to the bible.

In some cases there is not much difference between the Christian educational games and the conventional ones, They are packaged the same and kids can not really tell the difference so instead of a war action hero, you might give the child an Egyptian or Moses doll that has just as many accessories as the WW II army general action figure sitting right next to the Christian educational toy on the shelf.

In any case, point your child toward God in every way possible -- including his or her toys and games!
